Recently, The Frosty Mug located at 269 Beaver Street officially had their ribbon cutting with Mayor Tim O'Brien. In his remarks, the Mayor wished restaurant owner Bob Layman much success and thanked him for having faith in the City of New Britain. The Frosty Mug offers home made custom burgers, a variety of chicken wings, great pizza, pierogies and a full bar.
The Frosty Mug occupies the same spot as the former Meadowland which was a infamous gathering eatery in New Britain for many years.
The Frosty Mug's business hours are Mon-Thurs 10:30 a.m.-11:00 p.m. and Fri-Sat. 10:30 a.m.-2:30 a.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. -11:00 p.m.
