South main Laundromat recently opened its doors in an official ribbon cutting ceremony that included Mayor Tim Stewart, Fernando Rosa of HEDCO and Gregori Tonon of New England Bank.
Owner Jo-Ann LoRusso, owner of the business along with her family officially cut the ribbon for the neighborhood laundromat. Ironically, Jo-Ann's mother attended the former New Britain Senior High School that is located directly across the street from the business.
With assistance form New England Bank and HEDCO'S Central Connecticut Revolving Loan Fund, the business opened its doors on schedule. The laundromat will be open from 7:30 a.m. -9:30 p.m. seven days a week. Call 860-225-7627 for additional information.
