The McCue Mortgage Co. recently celebrated a phenomenal year by any business standard with a a number of prestigious awards.
The company was honored with the University of Connecticut's 2010 "Family Business Award" at a ceremony held at the University's Storrs campus. The award is given annually by the School of Business as a part of its Family Business Program. McCue Mortgage Co. literally beat out hundreds of other applicants according to program director Priscilla Cole.
McCue attributes and achievements including linkages to the communities they serve, contributions to the community, business success and positive family/business linkage.
In addition, McCue Mortgage Co. was awarded the Connecticut Housing and Finance Authority # 1 ranking by industry researcher the Warren Group. McCue Co. has also been recognized by the State of Connecticut Banking Department and the Connecticut Association of Realtors.

McCue Mortgage Co. was founded in 1949 by the late William D. McCue and is now operated by his son William J. McCue, the company is in its second generation of family leadership . The third generation in the person of Katherine A. McCue will soon assume primary leadership.
