The City of New Britain has been designated by the State of Connecticut as a “Targeted Investment Community” which may offer tax abatements on real and personal property to eligible businesses.If you are considering moving your business to New Britain, starting up a new business in New Britain and expanding your current business in New Britain, you may be eligible for tax abatement incentives. Manufacturer’s moving to New Britain or expanding their New Britain business may be eligible for a five (5) year real and personal property tax break. Additionally, corporate business tax credits may be available to eligible companies.
